- Method 2: You can also manually enable health permissions by going to “Settings - Privacy & Security - Health” on your iPhone, finding "Moodji," and enabling permissions.
How to Manually Install Moodji on Your Watch?
In the "Watch" App on your iPhone, scroll down on the "My Watch" page to see the list of "Available Apps." Find "Moodji" and tap "Install."
Watch Faces
Why Does My Watch Face Show "Moodji Needs Your Data"?
"Moodji Needs Your Data" usually appears because detailed sleep data from the previous night hasn't been retrieved. Check the following:
- Is There Data: 2. Did you wear your watch and enable sleep mode last night? If not, detailed sleep data won't be available. 3. Is there detailed sleep data from the previous day in the Health App? If not, try wearing your watch and enabling sleep mode tonight, and detailed data will be generated the next day.
- Is Data Authorized:
- If detailed sleep data is available in the Health App, check if health data permissions are enabled: Restore health permissions through the Moodji App by going to “Settings - Data or Watch Face Issues - Health Data - Go to Settings.”
How to Set Up for Detailed Sleep Data?
- Open the "Health" App on your iPhone and find "Sleep."
- Scroll down to create a "Sleep Schedule" to automatically enable sleep mode.
- Wear your Apple Watch to sleep.
- After waking up, Moodji will display detailed data for each sleep stage.
Why Did Moodji's Watch Face Complication Disappear and Show Blank on My Watch?
This usually happens when the software is still downloading to your watch or an automatic update isn't complete. Check and resolve the issue with these steps:
- In the Watch App on your iPhone, scroll down to "Available Apps" and check if Moodji has successfully downloaded.
- If the download is slow or incomplete, try switching Wi-Fi networks to speed up the process.
- On your watch, open the "App Store," scroll to the bottom "Account," and download Moodji from "Purchased."
- If the download takes too long, it might be due to a disconnection between your watch and phone. Restarting both devices can resolve the issue.
- If the watch face complication disappears but you can still open the app by tapping, it may be due to software version mismatches between the phone and watch. Restarting the watch can fix this.
What to Do If My Watch Isn't Updating Statuses?
Moodji calculates your Activity Status for the previous hour at the top of each hour. A 10-minute delay in refreshing is normal, but if it hasn’t updated for several hours, check the following:
- Is Background App Refresh Enabled (Watch Settings - General - Enable Background App Refresh)?
- Is Your Watch Low on Battery or is it in Low Power Mode, Theater Mode, or Workout Mode?
If everything seems fine but the watch face still isn't refreshing, it may be due to system limitations on the Apple Watch, where the app has been running in the background for too long or is unresponsive due to limited memory. Restarting both your phone and watch to reconnect them usually resolves the issue, and the next hour should refresh normally.
Emoji Stickers
Why Is Only "Flow Focus" Showing? How Can I See More Text and Emoji Stickers?
Moodji’s "Flow Focus" indicates a focused state with no significant movement or screen time during the hour.
The Activity Status for each hour is generated based on your walking, phone use, calorie burn, etc. The more diverse your activities, the more varied your statuses will be. PLUS members also have access to exclusive statuses triggered by sunlight and stress data.
If you’ve engaged in these activities but they’re not showing, check if health permissions and screen time permissions are enabled. You can review and restore data permissions under "App Settings - Data and Watch Face Issues - Health Data/Screen Time."
Why Didn't the New Sticker I Switched to Show Up on My Watch Face?
Check if you've selected multiple stickers. When multiple stickers are selected, they will randomly rotate each hour. You can disable multi-selection in the "Moodjis" setting within the Moodji app.
If it's your first time downloading an emoji sticker, the watch face might not switch immediately—give it some time. Your watch needs to download and transfer the new sticker resource package, which can take a moment. The new sticker will display in the app in real time, but a poor network connection might cause the download to fail, though it will automatically retry in the next hour.
Hourly Statuses
Are the Activity Statuses and Their Associated Emoji Stickers Random?
No. The statuses are determined by your walking, focus, phone usage, and other data during that hour, resulting in a unique status name and corresponding emoji sticker.
Moodji currently has over fifty statuses. Try engaging in different activities to unlock more diverse statuses. PLUS members also have exclusive features like sunlight and stress data.
Why Didn't I Get a Green Block After Exercising? Why Didn't I Earn a "Moderate Exercise" Leaf?
Moodji’s exercise status is based on calorie burn.
If the status wasn't triggered, it could be due to insufficient calorie burn or too short exercise duration. If you exercised across two hours, the data might be split, so try to complete your workout within a single hour to unlock the status.
Why Does It Keep Showing "Flow State” for Several Hours?
If walking and phone usage activities aren't being recorded, it may be because Moodji doesn't have permission to access "Health" and "Screen Time" data. Check your data permissions:
- Open the Moodji app on your iPhone and go to "Settings."
- Check if the data "Last Accessed Time" under "Data or Watch Face Issues" is normal, and click "Go to Settings" to restore permissions.
- If it still doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Moodji app, and reauthorizing data permissions.
Why Was My Nap Counted as Focused?
If your nap was counted as a focused state, it might be because you haven't added a nap routine to your schedule. Setting up a nap routine can unlock statuses like "Take a Nap" and exclusive Moodji emoji stickers. To add a nap routine:
- Open the Moodji app on your iPhone and go to "Settings."
- Scroll down to find "Routine" and tap to enter the settings.
- Click "Add Routine" to create a "Nap" routine and set your nap time.
Participating in Events
What Are Moodji Events?
Moodji events help users build healthy habits by turning life into a game. Monthly events start at the beginning of the month, and by adjusting daily habits related to sleep, exercise, and screen time, you can earn Leaves by completing the corresponding Activity Statuses for Daily Habits. Leaves can be accumulated to redeem emoji stickers in the Moodji Shop, with new stickers released every month. Leaves are cleared at the end of the month, so make sure to redeem your stickers in time. Once redeemed, stickers are yours to keep permanently. Moodji syncs through your Apple ID, so check your iCloud storage to ensure automatic backup.
How Do I Earn Leaves from Events?
After the event starts, simply reach the specified statuses in the event list to earn corresponding Leaves. For example, achieving "Happy Outing" unlocks the "Go for a Walk" Leaf for that Daily Habit.
If you've performed the activity but didn't earn the Leaf, check the detailed requirements on the home page. Note that only one Activity Status is updated per hour, and only one Sleep Status per day.
